MCP Architects PLLC is a full-service architectural, planning and design firm working with our clients to create the best design solution after listening to our clients needs from pre-design phase to detailed construction documents phase. Experienced in a wide variety of building classifications, but specialized in commercial (office, retail, quick serve and fast casual restaurants, grocery, professional colleges and warehouse ) new construction, addition or remodel. Deliver a boutique level of service to every range of clientele from; a small tenant finish-out project to a developer's multi-tenant commercial shell building and big-box mercantile project. Follow the strict prototype requirements for small to large scale tenants. Provide creativity to help the project stand apart in compliance with the Municipality regulations and ordinances and keeping the reality of the budget and high attention to detail. Great pride in being part of and getting along with all the members of the project team communicating constantly throughout the project phases.

Background

MCP Architects PLLC was founded by Melissa Cabre in February 2016 when relocated to Dallas Fort Worth, Texas after practicing architecture in Puerto Rico non- stop since 1994. A highly motivated and successful designer with a proven ability to develop practical and aesthetically pleasing solutions to contemporary client demands. Productive-mentality to establish and maintain excellent designer-client relationships, guaranteeing client satisfaction and efficiency of the company.
  • Professional education from Syracuse University Class of '94, Bachelor Degree in Architecture a Five-year program.
  • Assisted two semesters to Syracuse University Florence Architecture Program which had the opportunity to studied Italian Architecture, Language, Culture and History. Eternally grateful to her parents for allowing her the once in a lifetime opportunity.
  • Completely bilingual in English and Spanish which allows to communicate with all team members from clients, consultants and including on-site builders.
  • AIA Texas, NCARB and LEED AP.
  • Licensed for Architectural and Interior Design Services in: Texas #25050, Exp. March 31, 2024, Florida #AR97698, Exp. Feb. 28. 2023 and Puerto Rico #1529, Exp. March 30, 2025
  • Comply with all State and Affiliations Continuing Education requirements every year and keeping up to date with adopted Building Codes.
